About Me

I am visual communicator interested in strategic planning and building interpersonal relationships.

Issues relating to health and wellness has motivated my work at the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication. Last spring I created a documentary-style video about overcoming depression and self harm as part of an online resource for UO students. As part of an anti-sexual assault campaign, I conducted interviews with more than 20 students to gauge their understanding of consent and coded the results. I also produced an audio slide show about resources available on campus to prevent assault.

Ultimately, I want to help others enhance their quality of life with a career in nonprofit communications. I will earn a bachelors of arts degree in Public Relations with an African Studies minor in Fall 2017.

I am a cat mom to a vocal orange feline. In my spare time I read dramatic fiction novels, dance with a performance company, and spend as much time in the sunshine as humanly possible.
